The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance level established for intervention encounters a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this sassa reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance expert services,” the sassa status check agency said.
